Factory wall collapse in Amata City damages seven cars, injures one worker

Wall Collapse Shocks Workers – Employees fled the building after hearing a loud crash, initially believing it was thunder.

CHONBURI, Thailand – A partial wall collapse at a factory in the Amata City Industrial Estate, Phan Thong District, Chonburi, caused damage to seven parked vehicles and left one employee with minor injuries.

The incident occurred when a second-floor extension wall of the factory gave way, crashing down onto cars parked beside the building. A female employee sustained slight injuries and was promptly transported to a hospital for treatment.



Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud crashing sound and initially mistook it for thunder. The affected area was part of the building used by the HR department, and no one was sleeping or residing there at the time of the collapse.

The Phan Thong Police Superintendent stated that engineers have begun inspecting the site, and the company had insurance coverage in place. Authorities will assess damage to both the building and the vehicles to determine legal compensation under relevant laws. (TNA)

Vehicles Crushed – Seven cars parked next to the factory were heavily damaged by falling debris from the wall collapse.
