BANGKOK, Thailand – Starting from 1 May 2025, foreign passengers arriving at Thailand’s six major airports operated by AOT can now experience faster and more efficient immigration processing through the official rollout of the Thailand Digital Arrival Card.
The new system replaces the traditional TM.6 form with an online pre-registration system, making entry into Thailand smoother than ever before.
The six AOT airports where this system is now active:
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
Don Mueang Airport (DMK)
Chiang Mai Airport (CNX)
Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai Airport (CEI)
Phuket Airport (HKT)
Hat Yai Airport (HDY)
AOT has deployed support teams and digital kiosks equipped with iPads at immigration checkpoints to assist those who haven’t registered in advance. Clear signage and registration guidance have also been set up throughout the airports.
This collaboration between AOT and Immigration Bureau enhances national security, streamlines data verification, and ensures a faster, safer, and more convenient entry for international visitors.
Welcome to Thailand – now with a smoother start to your journey! (TAT)
