PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, August 14, The Emerald – Stableford
We went to the Emerald on Tuesday and enjoyed some nice weather for golf. The course was in good condition, practically inviting good scores – and good scores we had.
Paddy Devereux played a very good game and came out on top with a laudable 45 points. In second was Stephen Ford with another fine score of 40 points and in third came Phill Waite with 35.
The near pins went to Dave Smith, Stan Rees and Paddy Devereux.
Thursday, August 16, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford
Pattaya Country Club was our venue for Thursday and we welcomed back our regular player Martin Hayes. The weather was about the same as Tuesday, but the breeze was stronger.
The condition of the course was a little bit disappointing today. The fairways need better mowing and the sanding was also not well done. Nevertheless we had another enjoyable day playing golf.
The scores were not of the same level as Tuesday, only Jonathan Pratt had a good result and won with 39 points. In second was Willem Lasonder with 33 points, beating Dave Smith on countback.
The near pins were claimed by Phill Waite, Daniel Oshiro, Paddy Devereux and Willem Lasonder.
