The Human Help Network Thailand hosted a day of child protection card games to train Darasamutr students to spot and fend off human trafficking and others seeking to exploit them.

HHN Drop-In Center Manager Pirun Noiimjai led the outreach trip to the school Aug. 10. The card game, which makes teaching prevention an enjoyable experience for youths, is funded through a 243,000-baht grant from Chonburi Province.

The child protection card game gives kids knowledge about preventing abduction and exploitation through questions and answers. Youths also learn survival skills in cases of emergencies or when faced with adversity.

At Darasamutr School, 62 grade 10-11 students took part in a simulated robbery scenario and answered questions about children’s rights.

After the activity, children summarized the knowledge they gained. The school received two sets of cards to teach future students.
