Four amateur photographers split more than 100,000 baht in prize money for capturing the best shots of the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival.

Tithipong Sukpaiboonwat took first place and 42,500 baht. Pratheep Suwannawong won 34,000 baht for second place. Vichan Srisanegnil took home 17,800 baht for third and Akapope Suthamno won 14,300 baht for the best view of the June 9 festival from Central Festival Pattaya Beach, which sponsored the photo contest.

The contest was a bit unusual as rules prohibited any editing or post-processing of the photos; they had to be submitted straight from the camera, a difficult feat for shooting fireworks.
