Major Development launches “Reflection” – latest super
luxury beach condominium in Pattaya
Major Development Public Company Limited has announced a
super luxury beach condominium project entitled “Reflection Jomtien Beach
Pattaya” – situated at one of the most beautiful sites on Jomtien Beach,
Pattaya.
The project, which is worth over 3 billion baht, will become an outstanding
landmark for Pattaya in terms of luxury designs and decorations, which highlight
the 180-degree ocean views for all units. The project is expected to attract
high-end local and foreign customers with a starting price of 100,000 baht per
square meter. Completion is scheduled in 2011.

Dr. Suriya Poolvoralaks, Managing Director of Major Development Public Company
Limited, disclosed the current trend of Thailand’s property industry, saying
investment on real estate within the eastern seaboard was as high as one third
of the country’s total investment, especially for the town of Pattaya because it
is a center of tourism and investment in this region.
“Each year, over 4 million tourists from around the globe visit Pattaya,
bringing in over 7 billion baht worth of property investment. Many visitors have
come to Pattaya for so many consecutive years as they are impressed with the
beautiful surroundings and the unique Thai culture including the gentle Thai
hospitality, delicious Thai cuisine, prominent traditions and many relaxing
activities,” he said.
“Not only do the foreigners become so impressed with Pattaya but also the Thai
travelers, who are attracted to the unique variety of this lovely tourist town,
which suit every kind of lifestyles such as water sports namely yachting,
surfing, wind surfing, kayaking and jet skiing. More importantly, Pattaya is not
so far from Bangkok. It is easy to travel to Pattaya, which is why the demand
for vacation places in this tourist town is high. Some buy houses as vacation
destinations while a few treat them as holiday getaways and worthwhile
investments. At present, around 60% of the investments are made by Thais, while
the remaining 40% come from foreigners, who are from Scandinavia, England, the
United States, Russia and Australia,” he explained.

Seascape Living. The project is aimed at A+ consumers,” he said.
Reflection Jomtien Beach Pattaya is situated on 10-rai of land offering total
utilization coverage of 41,018 square meters. The project highlights modern
designs, which provide a 180-degree ocean view for all units. The project
consists of 2 buildings namely Ocean Front Tower, which is 54-stories high and
Ocean View Tower, 41-stories high, each houses 102 units and 228 units
respectively making a total of 330 units.
The condominium project will be equipped with world-class facilities comparable
to a 6-star hotel such as a fitness center, children’s playground, golf putting
green, separate male and female steam & sauna rooms, cigar lounge, barbeque
pavilion, jogging track, sky garden, sky lounge, 50-meter Olympic-size swimming
pool, aquatic playground with water cave, water tunnel and water slide; library
and a recreational area.
In addition, the project is situated near shopping centers, supermarkets, police
station, international schools and surrounded by many restaurants and eateries.

The Hilton Pattaya hotel, slated
to open its doors in 2010, will be incorporated into the new 7 billion baht
Central Festival Pattaya Beach complex currently under construction.
Hilton Hotels Corporation recently announced that its
subsidiary has signed an agreement with CPN Pattaya Beach Co. Ltd (a subsidiary
of Central Pattana Public Company Ltd) to manage the Hilton Pattaya, a 300-room
upscale full service hotel in the beginning of 2010.
Koos Klein, Area President, Hilton Hotels - Asia Pacific, commented, “With its
rich diversity of culture, climate and topography, Thailand continues to be an
extremely popular destination. The Hilton Pattaya will be a fantastic new
offering, answering to a growing demand for upscale accommodation in Pattaya,
among leisure travelers from Thailand and overseas.”
The Hilton Pattaya will be part of the new Central Festival Pattaya Beach
complex, one of the largest beachfront-shopping complexes in Asia. The 240,000
sq meter mixed-use development, with over 200 leading international shops and
restaurants, comprises a 7-floor cosmopolitan shopping mall anchored by a 23,000
sq meter Central Department Store (one of Thailand’s leading department store
chains). It will also house a 10-screen cinema, a 25-lane bowling alley, a 3,000
sq meter supermarket and multiple recreational facilities. Located along Pattaya
Beach Road adjacent to Soi 9, the development offers stunning views of the
Pattaya Bay.
With an exclusive ground floor entrance, the main lobby of the Hilton Pattaya
will be located on the 7th floor, with the 300 upscale guest rooms located in a
15-storey tower above the lobby. The 25th floor restaurant will serve as
Pattaya’s first premium sky restaurant overlooking the Pattaya Bay.
To meet the growing demand for quality MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions
and Exhibitions) facilities and service, the Hilton Pattaya will be designed
with extensive banqueting, ballroom and meeting space equipped with
state-of-the-art technology to ensure flawless events. With a lobby lounge and
bar and two restaurants, the Hilton Pattaya will offer guests a wide range of
contemporary authentic dining experiences. It will also feature a health club,
spa and swimming pool.

opening of the Doubletree by Hilton Resort & Spa near Sriracha, and in 2009, the
Conrad Koh Samui Resort & Spa, followed by the Hilton Pattaya in 2010.
