Annulled election leaves Pattaya voters fed up with waste of time and money
Pattaya residents are disgruntled over the annulled election, many of them
saying that it has all been a waste of time and taxpayers’ money and that they
and their families will probably not bother voting next time.

scrutinized the actions of the Election Commission. The court found that the
timing of the election was unfair, giving an advantage to the government at the
time of dissolution and therefore breaking the impartiality of the Election
Commission under Article 136 of the constitution and violating Article 144,
which covers the holding of fair and clean elections.
