Yacht racing does not come any better

It was a perfect day for the 12th
sailing of the Pattaya Mail PC Classic Royal Cliff Beach Resort International
Regatta, sailed this year to celebrate the 60th anniversary of HM the King’s
accession to the Thai Throne. There was a reasonable chop from a 15-knot
southerly and 90 craft manoeuvring mid-stream out in the Gulf, but perhaps more
importantly, well over a million baht was raised for charity.

Mayor presents certificates to students from all 10 Pattaya City schools

Mayor Niran Watthanasartsathorn on March 20 and 21 at Pattaya School 2
presented certificates to pupils from the primary and secondary school
classes of Pattaya City schools for the 2005 education year. Also receiving
certificates were children of under school age at the Children’s Development
Center.

Windsurf Association of Thailand readies athletes for 15th Asian Games

March 11, Mr Khanchit Narasaetaphorn, Windsurf
Association Vice President called a meeting of the directors of the Windsurf
Association of Thailand to explain improvements and development of the
Association to prepare athletes (windsurfers) for the 15th Asian Games to be
held in Qatar between 1-15 December this year.
