Burst water mains erode North Pattaya
beachfront
No, it wasn’t meant to be a new tourist attraction
Water
mains on Beach Road burst on Monday afternoon and sent a geyser of water spewing
thousands of liters from the damaged pipe, washing away part of the beach in
front of the Hard Rock Hotel. Reporters on the scene called the Banglamung water
authority to repair the pipe but the damage was already done. It took nearly
four hours for technical crews to repair the mains. (Boonlua Chatree)

Suicidal Korean keeps police at bay for 4 hours

Choi Jong Won shot two fellow compatriots, then held the handgun to his own
throat for four hours before being talked into giving himself up.
Fifty-year-old
Korean man Choi Jong Won shot two fellow compatriots after they had allegedly
consistently prevented him from conducting business in Pattaya. He then kept
police at bay for 4 hours by threatening to shoot himself if they came too
close.

Team Building in the mist
It has become a tradition for me to scoop up volunteering
family youngsters once a year and take them to a place far away from their
parents’ reach. The moms and dads’ mental health in general could be in
serious danger if they stayed together for too long during the holidays. Thus,
the team building excuse was introduced.
