People throughout the Kingdom join together to pay respects
to King Chulalongkorn the Great
District
officials, community leaders and residents turned out for the official ceremony
in observance of King Chulalongkorn Day held on the morning of October 23 at the
Rama V monument of the beloved King of Thailand, located in front of the
Banglamung district office building. The ceremony is performed all over
Thailand, as October 23 marks the day that the great King passed away in the
year 1910.

Provincial, City and local administrations prepare for the big event

3rd annual long boat races are set for this coming November 15-16 at the
Mabprachan Reservoir, drawing rowers from around the country in the 30 and
50 rower classes to Pattaya in what has become a nationally broadcasted
event.

general manager Sodawan Buranasiri, held an elephant buffet at the popular
tourist attraction after an awards ceremony was held for receiving a
certificate for standard.

City encourages communities to wipe out narcotics once and for all
End of November target date for eradication
Over 1,000 residents, government officers, police and
local business operators and employees attended an address given by
Banglamung district chief, Surapol Tiensuwan in front of Pattaya City Hall
on Monday afternoon as part of the regional efforts to eradicate narcotics
from the district once and for all.

TQ Masters ‘Typhooned’ at Plutaluang

A re-scheduled date of Friday November 21 has been set
for the 10th TQ Masters Golf Tournament that had to be abandoned at
Plutaluang on October 24 due to typhoon weather and the South and East
courses becoming unplayable.
