Down she goes into the briny depths
A World War II medium size landing ship, the HMS Krarm
was sunk just 300 meters off the coast of Bamboo Island (Koh Pai) last week
forming Thailand’s first underwater conservation park.
The aging vessel, acquired by the Thai Navy in 1962, saw
the last light of day amidst naval ceremonies as it slowly sank beneath the
water. It will now begin its new life an artificial reef, where marine life
will blossom and attract avid divers from around the world.

A high powered delegation from Iran, including HE Es-Haq

Mines, recently gathered at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort. The group was
accompanied by HE Mr. Rasoul Eslami (2nd left), Iranian

Trayling partnership on form at Century
A last minute cancellation of a trip to Lampang enabled
the ever-present partnership of Ed and Mam Trayling to compete in
Shenanigans Combined Stableford outing to Century Ban Chang on Tuesday
February 4. A combined score of 75 Stableford points resulting from Mam’s
39 points and Ed’s 36 on this testing links course was enough to take the
winner’s spot.
