Pattaya Festival options aplenty

This year’s Pattaya Festival offered visitors what may be the largest variety of events ever.

home.jpg (26433 bytes)The streets turned into rivers and chaos reigned during Pattaya’s version of the Songkran Festival on April 19th.

From the opening parade, reportedly grander than any other year, through the highly acclaimed light and sound show "Land of Thap Phraya of King Taksin", to cultural shows and sporting events, festival goers this year had a plate full of options to choose from.

The list of events in and around Pattaya included: Thai boxing, Wine-Fun-Run, Windsurfing, Fishing, Speed Boat Racing, Beach Football, Beach Volleyball, Water Skiing, Motor Car and Motorbike Racing, Trakoh, Dog Shows, Bowling, Golf Competitions, and even a Beer Drinking Contest.
