Travel agents from 50 countries will descend upon Pattaya as the city hosts Thailand Travel Mart+ 2018.
Deputy City Manager Wuthipol Charoenpol announced details of the convention with representatives of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Pattaya Business and Tourism Association Feb. 1.
The event will see up to 300 Thai tour operators, hospitality companies and tourist attractions meet with the 50 international travel buyers to bring tourists to Thailand.
The foreign firms also will be offered opportunities to invest or collaborate with Thai companies in various tourism-industry ventures.
Previous Thailand Travel Mart shows have generated as much as 1.4 billion baht in revenue.
