THAI Supports “Thai Fruits Going Global Year 3”

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited recently supported “Thai Fruits Going Global Year 3”. The announcement was made at a press conference held in conjunction with Tesco Lotus and the public and private sector to promote Thai agricultural products sold at Tesco supermarkets throughout Asia and Europe with cargo shipment handled by THAI Cargo.

From April 18 to mid-May 2011, Tesco is cooperating with the Department of Export Promotion and Ministry of Commerce to promote the sale of Thai fruits. This annual activity is organized at over 500 branches of Tesco supermarkets throughout the United Kingdom to introduce and promote Thai fruits to English consumers.

Jointly presiding over the press conference were Porntiwa Nakasai (5th from left), Commerce Minister; Anchalee Promnart (3rd from left), Director of the Department of Export Promotion, Sunthorn Arunanondchai (4th from left), President of Tesco Lotus, Pichai Chunganuwad (7th from left), THAI Managing Director for Cargo and Mail Commercial, and H.E.
