THAI holds aircraft anointing ceremony for Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 777-300ER

Somdej Phra Maha Muneewong (far left), Abbot of Wat Rajabopit Sathitmahasimaram Rajaworavihara, presided over the Aircraft Anointing Ceremony for Thai Airways International Public Company Limited’s two aircraft, an Airbus A330-300 royally bestowed the name “Chaiburi” and a Boeing 777-300ER royally bestowed the name “Pilawan”.

Apiporn Pasawat (1st from left), member of the THAI Board of Directors, Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan (2nd from left), THAI president, and, Chokchai Panyayong (3rd from left), THAI senior executive vice president of strategy & business development, were present at the Aircraft Anointing Ceremony that was held at THAI’s Technical Department, Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Both aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art passenger seats and personal screens with the latest in-flight entertainment system in all classes of travel. Passengers are able to enjoy up to 100 movies, listen to 500 songs, play 60 games, and watch 150 documentaries on board these two aircraft.
