Corporate Communication Department of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) clarifies that the THAI aircraft parked at Don Muang airport have all been decommissioned from THAI’s fleet prior to the flooding. They are waiting to be sold to potential buyers.

Nevertheless, THAI has implemented plans that protect these aircraft - engine, hydraulic systems, wheels and accessories through the use of plastic wrap, as well as lifting the aircraft above water level. THAI is still operating regular flights out of Suvarnabhumi airport. For more information, customers may contact THAI at tel. 02-356-1111 or www.thaiairways.com.
