PM Prayut visits Marina Bay Cruise Center, pondering on Thai-Singaporean cooperation in cruise tourism

SINGAPORE, June 2015 – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha and his spouse Naraporn, accompanied by Thai delegates visited Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) which has served as marine gateway to the heart of the city state.

At MBCCS officially opened on 22 Oct 2012, the Prime Minister observed Asia’s largest and the world’s third largest ship entitled “Best of Asia” to see Singaporean potential in cruise tourism for use in the consideration of the Thai-Singaporean cooperation in cruise tourism which has been planned in the near future.

“Thailand is ready to open marine route and deep sea port for the purpose by including Koh Samui and Phuket on its pilot scheme,” said Gen Prayut.
