Bangkok Airways’ FlyerBonus members to earn points with Japan Airlines

To celebrate the code share partnership between Bangkok Airways and Japan Airlines, Bangkok Airways now offers FlyerBonus points to its frequent-flyer members when traveling on applicable Japan Airlines flights starting May 15, 2013.

This is an additional privilege to the current FlyerBonus points redemption scheme.  Members also have the option to redeem as well as earn miles on Japan Airlines (JAL). To earn miles, members simply present their FlyerBonus card when booking or checking-in with Japan Airlines code share flights.  Members may claim any missing miles within 6 months from the date of travel on a JAL code share flight (Original ticket and boarding pass are required).

Japan Airlines (JAL) is Bangkok Airways’ latest code-share partner. The agreement covers selected JAL flights between Bangkok and three airports in Japan plus Bangkok Airways flights between Bangkok and four Japanese destinations. The partnership offers passengers traveling from Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports and Osaka a smoother transit through Suvarnabhumi airport and onwards to Mumbai, Koh Samui, Phuket and Chiang Mai and vice versa.
