Thailand’s House Secretary-General discusses parliamentary issues at IPU in Hanoi

BANGKOK, 1 April 2015 – The Secretary-General of Thailand’s House of Representatives has discussed various parliamentary issues with participants of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Secretary-General of the House of Representatives Charae Panpruang, along with a Thai delegation to the 132nd IPU Assembly, yesterday joined in several discussions presented by participating parliamentary representatives.

One of the topics brought up was the relationship between the Parliament and members of the press from Turkey, which shed light on the efforts by the Secretariat of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to provide accurate information, in a transparent manner, to journalists via modern information technology.

Another topic of discussion was on the use of transparent and timely-employed measures related to the rights to access public information by the people, which was presented by the Senate of Spain.
