NAKHON NAYOK, 2 September 2015  – The provincial administration of Nakhon Nayok and Nakhonnayok Technical College jointly arranged a motorcade around the city, to welcome a vocational student who returned from World Skills 2015 in Sao Paolo with a bronze medal.

Before joining the competition in Brazil, Mr.Suparat Rattanaphan, a third-year student at Nakhonnayok Technical College, was Thailand’s candidate at the 10th ASEAN Skill Competition 2014 in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he won a gold medal in metal welding and also achieved the best summed scores of all skills.

That championship had made him Thailand’s representative at the World Skills 2015 held in Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, during 11-16 August, and again he proved to be superior than most competitors from thirty-nine other countries.

Mr.Suparat gave his opinion on choices of education that both general and vocational fields have their own advantages and disadvantages. While general education may give students wider career paths, vocational students gain more benefits from practical learning outside classroom and may excel in the field of their study. He summarized that the success a student will gain in education depends on the extent of their contribution and behavior.
