BANGKOK – The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME Bank) organized an activity aimed at helping financially troubled customers.

SME Bank President Mongkol Leelatham said the gathering enabled more than 300 customers to discuss their debt problems with the bank’s counselors and come to suitable solutions, including repayment suspensions and debt restructuring.

The meeting was held in a relaxing ambiance so that clients could feel free to talk with the bank about their difficulties.

Those seeking the bank’s help consisted of taxi operators and small business owners. The event also featured other activities, such as English and Chinese courses to boost the abilities of SME operators.
