Satellites, rovers, space suits and g-force ride await visitors at NASA exhibition

BANGKOK, 2 December 2014 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is co-hosting an exhibition of inventions employed by the United States’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at Central Latphrao’s Bangkok Convention Center, the largest of its kind that has ever been held in Thailand.

According to Manasvi Srisodapol, deputy permanent-secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the “NASA: A Human Adventure” exhibition affords everybody the opportunity to experience the proud history of mankind’s attempts to explore space. The exhibition also reflects on the fond relations between Thailand and the United States, which has now been ongoing for 180 years.

The exhibition boasts displays of space suits, satellites, rovers, robots, astronauts’ foods and space toilets. A highlight is the G-force simulator that is open for visitors to try.

The exhibition will remain open until February 1, 2015.
