BANGKOK, 13 September 2015  – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is expanding the Bangkok Express Service locations to provide the capital’s public with convenient civil registration services, the Bangkok Governor says.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has opened a new Bangkok Express Service point at Tang Hua Seng Shopping Center in Bangkok, to provide civil registration services to the general public at a convenient location.

Governor of Bangkok, Sukhumbhand Paribatra, said that the BMA is now working to expand its service coverage to the public in many locations, and civil registration services are among the important services that the BMA will be expanding to more locations.

He said many people in Bangkok work in offices and do not have time to manage civil registration tasks at district offices, which is located far away. The public will be able to manage their civil registration tasks at the Bangkok Express Service points without having to go to the district offices.

The BMA now runs Bangkok Express Service in 8 locations, namely that Bangkok City Hall, Siam BTS Station, Phrom Phong BTS Station, Mo Chit BTS Station, Paradise Park Shopping Center, Fashion Island Shopping Center, and Tang Hua Seng Shopping Center.

The BMA is now working to operate three more service points at The Mall Bang Kae Shopping Center, Wongwian Yai BTS Station, and Udom Suk BTS Station.
