NLA to go over 4 urgent matters on Thursday and Friday

BANGKOK, 20 July 2015 – National Legislative Assembly (NLA) President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai has scheduled meetings of NLA members on July 23 and 24 for the purpose of deliberating four urgent matters.

The year’s 45th and 46th meetings of the NLA will commence at 10 am on both days. NLA members will be deliberating the draft law on protection of the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO), which was proposed by the Cabinet; the draft bill on prevention and mitigation of teenage pregnancy; the draft bill on working capital, which has already been reviewed by the NLA’s extraordinary committee; and the draft bill terminating the B.E. 2552 bill on the exchange of agricultural goods futures.

NLA member Wanlop Tangkhananurak will also post an inquiry over monetary problems at the fund for the assistance of teachers and education personnel.
