More Thais from Libya arrive in Bangkok

BANGKOK, 11 August 2014 – Another group of 25 Thais residing in the wore-torn Libya has arrived in Bangkok from Tunisia on Monday.

Although another 34 Thais will be flown back shortly, a number of them are still in Libya awaiting evacuation, said Suwat Kaewsuk, the director of a coordinating center to help Thais in Libya. According to him, the situation in Libya remains unpredictable and in turbulence; therefore,the center will do everything it possibly could to speed up the evacuation process.

For those who wish to remain in Libya, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will explain to them in order for them to have understanding of the situation.
