BUENG KAN, 4 August 2015 – The army and local administrative officials have been helping residents in Bueng Kan province cope with flooding in the region.

The local government officials and soldiers have been distributing dried food and relief kits to those affected by the inundation in Ban Khee Lek Noi and Ban Sri Nawa.

Bueng Kan is located in the Northeast of Thailand, where continuous rainfall has triggered flash floods in several provinces. More than 90 homes in Bueng Kan have been damaged by floodwaters.

Residents have turned to using boats and relying on military trucks as a means of transportation, as roads remained inundated.
