Laboratory tests show His Majesty’s health is improving

BANGKOK- The team of doctors tending His Majesty the King at Siriraj Hospital has stopped giving an intravenous antibiotic injection to His Majesty after additional results of special laboratory tests showed the King no longer has bacterial infections.

In the 22nd statement on the condition of His Majesty the King while staying at Siriraj Hospital, the Bureau of the Royal Household said that His Majesty’s fever was decreasing gradually after taking antibiotics along with physical therapy.

The statement said the result of blood test indicated that His Majesty’s joint inflammation has disappeared.

The doctors would continue giving His Majesty the King anti-biotics to reduce infections, and also oxygen and physical therapy. The medical team would continue to watch His Majesty’s condition closely, the statement said.
