BANGKOK, 22 July 2015 – The government has launched its public services handbook as well as a website and a hotline number for people to make inquiries about public services and law.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Tuesday presided over the launch of the handbook, the website www.info.go.th and the 1111 hotline number. The hotline number provides a channel for the public to inquire about the law and to report problems with public sector services. The website provides information about the various public sector services.

The public services handbook provides details of services offered by the state sector, as well as the associated procedures, required documents and working time frame for each service. People will be able to report cases of state officials not adhering to the public services handbook at the Damrong Tham centers.

Also on Tuesday, the center for facilitating convenience in approval processes of state agencies was officially opened at the Office of the Civil Service Commission on Phitsanulok Rd. in Bangkok. The center has been set up to make sure that people receive service from the state in a timely manner.
