Concert for Mom held by Fund for Spreading the Buddha’s Word


A Concert for Mom was held by the Fund for Spreading the Buddha’s Word.

The Fund in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture organized the concert “Follow the Buddha’s Word for Mom” in proud recognition of the 82th birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. The concert was held at the National Theater and was broadcast by NBT and sponsored by public and private organizations.

The concert was designed to show the utility of the Buddha’s words in daily life, and also encourage children to show their love for their mothers and the Queen who is the mother of the country. Prof.Dr. Apinan Posayanon, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, as Guest of Honor, opened the concert and received a Book of the Buddha’s Words from Prajuab Chaiyasan, President of the Fund for Spreading the Buddha’s Word.

Activities at the event included a sermon given by Pra Ajarn Kukrit Sotatipalo and a concert by various fine performers: Sunari Rajasima, In Budokan, Thanin Intaratep, Seping Chaiyasarn, Sek Loso and Singto Namchoke.
