BANGKOK, 12 September 2015 – Thai Health Promotion Foundation and Sustainable Agriculture Foundation are jointly holding a city veggie garden festival in Bangkok.
The organizers hope to educate city people and their children to be environmentally-conscious with various activities such as a seminar focusing on the importance of agricultural cultivation in the child learning process, and demonstrations on the making of a vegetable garden, organic fertilizers, homemade soap and vegetable desserts.
It is expected that the activities would spark the urge to be close to nature among city dwellers and inspire them to a more simple and healthy lifestyle. The city veggie garden festival is taking place at Vachirabenjatas Park on Kamphaeng Phet 3 Road, Chatuchak District in Bangkok.
