BANGKOK, 24 April 2015 – The Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC) will send the draft constitution to political parties for their scrutiny and input.

CDC Chairman Prof Borwornsak Uwanno revealed that , the CDC will after Apr 26 send the draft constitution to political parties and political movements to ask for their input. He said emphasis would be given to provisions the political groups think could lead to future conflict and how they could be amended.

According to Prof. Borwornsak, the National Reform Council have mostly directed their criticisms towards the draft constitution’s chapter regarding political leaders. He asked that all groups pay as much attention to the chapter regarding citizen rights as there are many provisions that are designed to empower the people.
