BANGKOK, 22 October 2013 Deputy Bangkok Governor Mr. Manit Techaapichoke has revealed that M.R. Sukumpan Boripat, the Governor of Bangkok, and his management committee will showcase their 6-months worth of work under the “10 pressing matters and 6 key policies”: a safe city, a happy city, a green city, a learning city, a city of opportunities, and ASEAN’s city.

A public exhibition will be held from November 7 until November 9 at the Bangkok Cultural Center.

Some examples of what the administration has achieved during their tenure include lowering the BTS fare in the expansion sectors from 15 baht to 10 baht, decreasing the interest rate of pawnshops, providing free Malayu language lessons, and increasing the CCTVs within the capital to 27,000 units.
