Court drops request to revoke Emergency Decree

BANGKOK, Jan 31 - Thailand's Civil Court today dropped a protest leader's request to revoke the Emergency Decree, but banned the authorities from seizing demonstrators' necessities, medical supplies and equipment needed for rallies.
BANGKOK, 30 January 2014 The Civil Court has agreed to deliberate a motion submitted by a core leader of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) against government officials for illegitimately imposing the emergency decree to control protesters.
