200 dig up Pattaya graves for Buddhist rites

More than 5,000 people are expected to attend Pattaya’s annual Vegetarian Festival Oct. 14-24 at the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Naklua.
Sawang Boriboon Wittaya School opened their newest building to teach Thai, English and Chinese and spread knowledge on Thai-Chinese traditions.
Pattaya’s Chinese-Thai residents celebrated the Chinese “Hungry Ghosts Festival” Aug. 31 with fireworks, food and fun.
During the great floods of 2011, a group of people from the public and private sector came together to form the Pattaya Relief Group whose mission was and is to help the people who suffered immeasurable losses caused by natural disasters or other misfortunes.
