Sattahip Naval Base celebrates 90th anniversary

Royal Thai Navy officials celebrated the 90th anniversary of the Sattahip Naval Base with religious services and speeches. Vice Adm. Chainarong Charoenrak presided over the Dec. 24 ceremony. Ten monks prayed for prosperity of the Navy and its personnel while guests presented flowers of congratulations.
The Navy Savings Union awarded nearly 600,000 baht in scholarships to children of its military members.
