Nationwide inspections of quarries ordered

BANGKOK, June 4 – The Industry Ministry today instructed officials throughout Thailand to make on-the-spot inspections to ensure safety conditions at quarries following yesterday's accident at an open-pit stone grinding mill in Phetchburi province.

BANGKOK, May 20 – The United Kingdom is keen to set up a network for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand in a move to boost its trade and investment in Southeast Asia, a senior Thai official said today.
BANGKOK, March 29 – Japan fully advocates Thailand’s vision to become the hub of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) given the country’s capability as a business springboard for the Mekong region, according to the Japanese ambassador to Bangkok.
