Banglamung School raised more than 670,000 baht at a merit-making ceremony to raise funds to renovate a two-story conference hall. Pattaya City Council President Urit Nantasurasak lit candles as he presided over the Sept. 1 ceremony attended by students, teachers, public officials and community leaders.
Banglamung School will reserve up to 20 percent of its seats to impoverished children and those with exceptional talent in sports, technology and the arts when applications open again in March.

The Diana Group’s quarterly “Dharma on Time” television show took a break from its Buddhist sermon format this month to stage a quiz show featuring teams of students competing for scholarships.
More than 40 Chonburi government agencies will offer free social services ranging from health checks to pet sterilization at the “Social Care for the People” fair Dec. 16 at Banglamung School.
More than 100 students from Pattaya and Chonburi schools became the third group of youngsters to join up to conserve energy and protect the environment as part of Pattaya’s “Green Class Network”.

Banglamung School celebrated graduation for 577 graduates Thursday. Principal Warakorn Ruenkamol presented diplomas to 349 graduates of grade 9 and 238 graduates from or grade 12.
