We had the course in front to ourselves all day with few groups behind. The B course was in fine condition but C had 5 fairways that were infected with some broadleaf weed-like grass, but other than that the course was quite playable.
Back in the clubhouse after speeding around in 3 hours and 50 minutes we welcomed Charlotte Saaterup from Greenland and Torben Sorensen from Denmark.
Mike Winfield was the winner on the day with 2 birdie chip-ins on the opening nine before fading on the back to finish with 38 points. Henry Wong took second on 32 points, while Kristin Helgason was third on a count back over Jon Swanson in fourth, both 30 points, and Torben Sorensen took fifth with 38.

We got off on time at Pleasant Valley Golf Club, under overcast and humid conditions with a pleasant breeze all day. The course was in good condition with slowish greens.
Back in the clubhouse, after getting around in 4 hours and 10 minutes, we welcomed Ray Gott from the UK.
Two flights today with the A Flight won by Takeshi Hakozaki on a count back from Kristin Helgason second, both 38 points, and Mike Winfield third on 37.
Jim Carrick took the B Flight with 38 points, Ronnie Ratte was second on 35, and Dave Richardson claimed third on 33 points.
