Pattaya United suffered their fifteenth league defeat of the season last weekend with a 2-1 loss at home to promotion chasing Saraburi FC.

The visitors took command of the game through first half goals from Tanongsak Promdard and club captain Panuwat Yimsa-ngar, who scored on the stroke of half-time to dent United’s hopes of a revival.

The Dolphins fought back in the second half and managed to reduce the deficit in injury time through a finely worked goal by midfielder Tanet Benpard, however it would prove to be too little too late for United who need to rediscover their scoring form soon if they are to ward off the threat of relegation.

Pattaya United’s next league match is a local derby against Siam Navy in Sattahip on Sunday, Oct. 18.  Kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
