Upon arrival they were greeted by Santa (Rick Bevington) and each lady was presented with a wrapped red rose.

Before the excellent buffet (Western and Thai) was open and whilst all were enjoying a drink the evening was opened by Social Chairman Nigel Cannon who announced that tonight was party night and ‘speeches ’ would be kept to a minimum – this was received with cheers!
President Tony Oakes then welcomed all and said the buffet was open.
The Town in Town band played soft music whilst eating and drinking took place.
At 8 p.m. some 40 children – aged from 6 up – suitably dressed - from The Pattaya Orphanage were welcomed by loud applause as they lined up in front of the stage. Charity Chairman William Macey introduced the choir and the children then sang 4 Christmas carols in English! During the singing many guests took photos and joined in with the singing. The appreciation of all was indicated by the long and loud applause.

More music from the band and many took to the dance floor for some exercise!
At 9 p.m. Nigel announced the ‘Elvis had not left the building – but was here! with that a ‘Thai’ Elvis burst into the room gave 45 minutes of nostalgic hits – once again the dance floor was crowded with rock and roll fans! Great applause showed the appreciation of the audience.
For the first time at a PSC Party we were honored by a visit from Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh who spoke some words of appreciation for the part that PSC play in both raising funds for charity and bringing the foreign and Thai community together.
After a brief break it was time for the Lucky Draw with 28 prizes worth over 58,000 baht – including some gold. Nigel was assisted by Am North – who drew the tickets and Tony Oakes, William Macey and Santa handing out the prizes to the lucky winners.
Then it was more music and dancing late into the night.
Great party – enjoyed by all!
