Sad thing for Keith is that in a couple of week’s time he will have to re-adapt to the cold weather of the U.K to continue his good fortune and give the rest of us a chance to win.
Tuesday’s winners pose with the staff at The Relax Bar.
In second place was Richard Baldwin with 36 points and third was Mukesh Thakker with 35 points.
Near pins went to Keith Etherington, Peter Rawling & Granville Swanton.
Lucky draw of a free massage at The Relax Bar went to yours truly. The free drink went to Denis Dixon
Tuesday, Feb. 7, Phoenix - Stableford
On to Tuesday and another player who will be going back to his homeland next week is Joe Miller who managed to beat the slick greens today and score a fine 35 points in ‘A’ Flight. Yes 35 points was good going today. The course is very dry and the greens are faster now than they have been for some 10 months. Absolutely no chance of spinning the ball to stop unless it was a very high shot.
In second place was Denis Dixon with the same score but losing on count back and in third place with the same score again was newcomer Francesco Toma.
B Flight (19 to 28 H/C) was won by Sergio Volpi with 32 points, with Patrick Browne in second on 30 points pushing Bob Neylon into third place with the same score.
Near pins went To Mark Prytz, Joe Miller (2) & David Czernie.
Lucky Draw prizes donated by The Relax Bar went to yours truly (free drink) and Graham Hiskett (free massage). A lovely PGA tournament memento ball marker donated by Joe Miller was won by Bong Thonsaphon.
