PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside

Tuesday, Nov. 27, The Emerald – Stableford

Tuesday we had 15 players make our first visit to Emerald for several months.  The course has been under the gun recently, but has now been restored to good condition, with the greens being very good currently.

Owen & Willem, near pin winners on Thursday. Owen & Willem, near pin winners on Thursday.

With the course & weather conditions in our favour, there were plenty of good scores, something of a rarity (in our group) of late.  Frans Olgers (20) showed some good form to lead the way after posting 39 points, closely followed by Paul Hack (12) with 38, having edged Jeff Wylie (6) on count back 19/17.  Mam (30), who has been in playing poorly of late, finally hit some good form to finish 4th with 37 points, having edged Dave Edwards (14) on count back 19/17.

Near pins were shared around between K, Dave, Paul & Brian.

Thursday, Nov. 29, Century Chonburi - Stableford

As per the headline, it was the trim, taut & terrific Martin Hayes (13) who led the way home at Century Chonburi with 37 points, ahead of Jeff Wylie (6) who managed to card 35 points, despite a couple of critical errors.  The course was in good nick & our thanks go to Peter Blackburne from the Growling Swan, graciously allowing our much smaller group to tee-off first after both bookings had been set for 10:00am.

Near pins were scored by Owen, Willem & Jeff.

Note:  Mulligans Lakeside plays golf generally on Tuesday & Thursday, with ML hosting prompt presentations on both days.  As a PSC affiliated venue we welcome all golfers, including seniors who have opted for the “Silver” tee option.  Call 089 094 1841 for scheduling or enquiries.  Hope to see you there, cheers & good golfing!
