The climbs to the tee boxes and greens were also a bit much for some of the older players, one cashing it in after nine holes. Asked about getting a yellow flag to permit the cart to be closer to the green, players were told no problem for an additional 1,000 baht. So much for concern for the older folks!

Back at the Blue Moose Bar the cards were tallied and the scores were not too bad.
Larry Emerson took first place with a 36, Joe St. Laurent was second with 35 and Richard Hall followed with a 34. There were four players with 33 points; Mark Campbell, Jim Hern, Matt Millar, and Bruce Funk.
