Fighters in K-1 organization fights battle in a style similar to Muay Thai, but the bouts use different rules and point systems and fewer moves are allowed, leading aficionados to call K-1 a “watered down” version of the Thai-originated sport.

The competition will be held at the Eastern National Indoor Sports Stadium on Soi Chaiyapruek 2 from 6 p.m. to midnight. Ticket prices range from 1,000-10,000 baht and the match will be broadcast on Channel 7 and the Internet at K-1.tv.
