PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside

Tuesday, July 17, Treasure Hill – Stableford

First to Tuesday, when we travelled to Treasure Hill, with the dual purpose of today’s comp and perhaps gaining some insight for the upcoming PSC tournament.  Brian Maddox (20) played well in patches to lead the way home with a solid 33 points, despite a poor finish over the last 3 holes.  Jeff Wylie (5) barely found the club face early in the round, finishing with an unspectacular 30 points for second spot.

Nar pins were shared around between Phil and Jeff.

Thursday, July 19, Greenwood – Stableford

Thursday was a little further up the road to Greenwood, with C & A being our allotted test.  We were light on numbers and to accommodate the players of the day we decided on a skins format, the lower handicappers going from the Blue tees, with the others from the White.

Tuesday’s top man Brian Maddox, right, with Near Pin winner Phil. Tuesday’s top man Brian Maddox, right, with Near Pin winner Phil.

Everybody had some degree of success, however Jeff (5) from the Blue & Phil (13) tied at the top for most skins.  All agreed it was a fun, inexpensive way to go with the short field.

It was a disappointing day for the ML’ers at the PSC tournament on Friday, not contending in any flight contested, but we did have a couple of good shots, but few & far between on this day.  There’s always next time!

Note:  Mulligans Lakeside plays golf generally on Tuesday & Thursday (subject to Public Holidays), with ML hosting prompt presentations on both days.  Call 089 094 1841 for scheduling or enquiries.  Hope to see you there, cheers & good golfing!
