The weather was fine with sunny skies and a good breeze but as expected, the pace of play was a bit on the slow side. The course itself was a bit dry but was quite playable.

Back in the clubhouse after a round of 4 hours and 40 minutes, welcomes went out to Ulla and Kjeld Ravn and world traveller Stephen Coope-Reade. Goodbyes were said to Ole Holst and Karen and Rob Brown.
We had two flights today with the cut at handicap 20 and the full complement of near pins.
Don Richardson won the A Flight with a fine 41 points ahead of Rob Brown in second on 35 while Takeshi Hakozaki took third on a count back from Bjarne Kjar, both with 34 points.
Stephen Cooper-Reade won the B Flight with an amazing 44 points considering he has been piloting 777s to various destinations around the world for the past 9 weeks with little golf to be had. Brian Gabe returned a fine 40 points for second, Carole Kubicki was third on 36 and Susanne Gaarde placed fourth with 33.
