Along with the marathon round-robin contest, there were also WBC titles on the line in the form of a youth straw-weight match-up between “Knockout CP Freshmart”, the WBC world youth strawweight champion, and “Chris Alfunte”, a challenger from Philippines, and a 10-round youth light-flyweight bout between current WBC youth world champ “Kongfa CP Freshmart” and “Jomthong Sor Songsaeng” from the Rajadamnern Boxing Stadium.

In the former contest, “Knockout CP Freshmart” lived up to his name and defended his title with a TKO of “Chris Alfunte” in the 5th round.  Now up to #6 on the WBC rankings, “Knockout” will be hoping to get a world title shot in the not too distant future.  The second fight proved to be more of a mismatch as “Kongfa” comprehensively outgunned “Sor Songsaeng” and scored a second round KO.
