Once again the conditions proved to be a little harder than most would have wished for, although the condition of the course could not be faulted, with the greens playing very true and showing that it would not be long before they rival Green Valley and Khao Kheow for their speed.  Again there was a fair turn out for the day’s competition, which required two flights.

B Flight provided the man of the match in the shape of Mick Coghlan, who was the only player to play to his par.  Brian ‘Minnie’ Cooper managed to squeeze into the silver spot a shot adrift, with Jimmy ‘two shots’ Elphick a further shot back.

The boys in A Flight who can actually play the game found the going tough, with Ireland’s Tom Gorey standing atop of the podium with 34 points.  Tom was trailed up the podium steps by JP Maffray and Aussie star Bob Watson in one stroke increments.

No surprise there were no2’s were recorded so a rollover to Wednesday.
