Thailand Property Awards 2011: a judge’s perspective

Once again, there has been a tremendous amount of interest in the Thailand Property Awards and an unexpected number of entries this year, in most all real estate categories.

All of Thailand’s top real estate agents, property developers, interior designers and architects throughout Thailand’s housing and condominium industry will be at this year’s lavish 2011 gala dinner in December where these coveted property awards will be presented.

Having been the head of the Eastern Seaboard judge’s team and a national panel judge for the Thailand Property Awards for five years now, I can honestly say that the Eastern Seaboard just keeps looking better and better every year.

Looking back at last year’s 2010 Awards ceremony, it was one of the last awards of the evening and our own Horseshoe Point had already won the Best Villa Development Eastern Seaboard and the Thailand Green Award for environmental excellence, when it was time for the much coveted Thailand’s Best Villa Development award and when the name was read… the entire ballroom broke out with clapping and cheers as a very surprised Horseshoe Point table once again sent their ‘man at the helm’ Managing Director Khun Jate Sopitpongstorn and CEO Khun Linda Srifuengfung up to the podium to accept the highest award available to them, ‘Thailand’s Best Villa Development!

Now folks, that’s a Thailand Property Awards ‘Triple Crown’… Eastern Seaboard’s Best Villa Development, Thailand’s Green Development Award and the illusive ‘Thailand’s Best Villa Development Award’.

Once again, it really makes one realize just how competitive Pattaya and the Eastern Seaboard have become and continue to be in Thailand’s residential real estate game.

Yes, with our Eastern Seaboard’s Horseshoe Point ‘Triple Crown Win’ having been received last year, one thing that is very clear to everyone in Thailand’s real estate industry and that is that the Eastern Seaboard continues to mean business and we are now, without any doubt, ‘major players’ within the Thailand real estate industry.

This year’s Thailand Property Awards 2011 Gala Dinner and awards presentation event will not be any different as we have great chances in seeing the Eastern Seaboard continue its rise in award-winning accomplishments within Thailand’s real estate industry with an even bigger and more spectacular awards night ahead.  Bravo Eastern Seaboard!
