South East Asia Property Awards partners with Channel News Asia

The inaugural South East Asia Property Awards 2011 will take place in Singapore on Wednesday November 30 and leading TV news network Channel NewsAsia has confirmed its official International Media partnership.

Channel NewsAsia, part of MediaCorp, is available in more than 30 million homes and hotel rooms in 25 territories across Asia.  Their involvement with the South East Asia Property Awards will not only promote the event across its network, but also increase exposure for the winners as well as the event’s sponsors and partners.

“This is great news for the South East Asia Property Awards and regional real estate in general,” said Terry Blackburn, CEO of event organizers Ensign Media.  “We recognize CNA’s market leading position locally and its significant international reach in territories such as China, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan, which will ensure that our winners are widely known throughout Asia.”

Ensign Media has launched the first ever South East Asia Property Awards to recognise the crème de la crème of the region’s residential real estate industry.  It follows the success of the annual Thailand Property Awards, now in its sixth year and the company is confident that the South East Asia Property Awards will equal or surpass the success of the Bangkok event.

A panel of real estate experts, including Nick Candy, the billionaire developer behind London’s uber-luxury One Hyde Park development, will sit on the judges panel that will select the winners to be announced at a lavish dinner at the Fort Canning Hotel in Singapore on November 30.

“When someone like Nick Candy agrees to join the judges panel, it is a sign of how seriously real estate in the region is being taken by the international property industry,” Mr. Blackburn added.

The South East Asia Property Awards aims to showcase the best that the region’s real estate industry has to offer.  The awards assist in promoting the high level of quality of South East Asia’s real estate, construction, architectural and interior design, and industry professional services.  Through a professionally run judging, system the awards will help put South East Asia’s real estate on the world stage.

28 award categories are designed to cover the full range of real estate projects and services on offer in the region.  Trophies designed by leading designer Florian Gypser will be presented to each winner and all Winner and Highly Commended companies will also receive a dedicated logo for use in their sales and marketing materials.  For more information, visit
